Emilie Hondrado
AccounTeam was founded with one vision: to help boutique Australian accounting firms scale without compromise.
At the heart of that vision is Emilie Honrado, our Founder. With years of experience in Australian accounting and a people-first leadership style, Emilie ensures that every placement goes beyond filling a role, it’s about building long-term partnerships between firms and Filipino accountants.
But recruitment alone isn’t enough. That’s why Emilie also established AccounTax, AccounTeam’s in-house training arm. Through practical modules in Australian tax law, BAS/ITR preparation, and Xero, plus peer reviews led by senior accountants, AccounTax ensures every candidate is compliance-ready from Day 1.
Her mission is clear: to create a model where firms scale smarter and accountants grow stronger.

Dyan Althea Abel
Hi, I’m Dyan! I’m part of the AccounTeam family as a Business Development Partner, and I spend most of my days helping make sure things run smoothly behind the scenes (whether in Sales or in general).
From coordinating with our team to supporting Emilie, I love being in a role where I can keep things organized and moving forward.
A little about me outside of work: I’m a big fan of stories in all forms. Whether it’s binge-watching Korean Dramas, watching different shows, or getting lost in a Nicholas Sparks love story, I enjoy the way movies show us different worlds and perspectives.
But as much as I enjoy screen time, I also love being out in the real world, connecting with people, learning new things, traveling and finding inspiration from everyday experiences.
That balance between structure and creativity is what I bring into my work at AccounTeam too. I’m excited to keep growing with the team and to continue supporting firms and accountants in building strong, lasting partnerships.
